General Information

All Adult and Youth outdoor recreational areas and adjoining parking lots have been declared "Tobacco Free Zones".

The Fitness Annex is closed for remodeling until Fall. Aerobics classes are held at the main gym, and being rescheduled to fit around the basketball schedule.

Weekly Wing Run

Effective immediately, the Wing Commander is implementing a weekly wing run on
Fridays. 62 AW Squadron Commanders are responsible to ensure max participation within their units. All other Team McChord units are invited to participate if they wish.  Details for the run are listed below.

Run Status: Call 982-TALK after 0530 the day of the run to determine if the
run will take place or not

Squadron Quarterly Reservations - download LOI Form
Squadrons desiring regularly scheduled PT days/time, can do so on a quarterly basis. Jan.-Ma.r, Apr.-Jun., Ju.l-Sep., Oct.-Dec. The Letter of Instruction and Reservation Form can be downloaded from the link above and faxed to the Fitness Center fax 253-982-9943.

The Family Fitness Rooms - download rules

The Family Fitness Rooms are offered as a convenience for Fitness Center patrons Family Fitnessso children (ages 6mos - 7 years) are not exposed to dangerous adult exercise equipment, while affording parents an opportunity to receive quality fitness workouts. The concept is based upon each parent/legal guardian having line of sight responsibility of their children. The area will be divided into two (2) separate rooms; "Crawler Room", ages 6-11 months; "Toddler Room", ages 1-7 years. Parents/legal guardians are responsible for direct supervision of their children at all times while using the Family Fitness Rooms. The Air Force and its employees do not assume responsibility for children in the Family Fitness Rooms or the Fitness Center Annex.

Massage Therapy.

Massage Services moved from the HAWC to Bldg. #546 across from Burger King and behind the Family Readiness building until renovation of the Fitness Annex is complete Sep 2010. Appointments times changed to 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
