Flexible and Pay Banded Positions

Cook (Short Order Cook) - NA-7404-04 - $11.50 P/H
Requires previous grill cooking experience. Cash handling is also required for this position. You must be at least 21 years of age. The position does include shifts/weekend schedules. Position is located at the Whispering Firs Golf Course. There are three (3) vacant positions to fill.
Waiter (Bus Help/Special Functions) - NA-7420-01 - $9.11 P/H
There is no experience required. Previous banquet service is helpful. Position is located at the Collocated Club. Ability to work all shifts and weekends.
Custodial Worker - NA-3566-02 - $9.82 P/H
No prior training or work experience is needed. There is heavy lifting. Previous janitorial experience is helpful, but not necessary. Includes shifts and weekend schedules. A Washington state driver license is necessary. Position is located at the Collocated Club.
Food Service Worker (Beverage Cart Driver) - NA-7408-02 - $9.82 P/H
You must have knowledge of sanitation standards in handling and serving food. You must also have cash register experience and be at least 21 years of age. Includes shifts/weekend schedules. Position is located at the Whispering Firs Golf Course.
Food Service Worker (Barista) - NA-7408-02 - $9.82 P/H
You must have cash handling and automatic latte machine experience. Schedule is Monday-Friday, 0600-1130 and may include occasional shift/weekend schedules. Position is located at the Collocated Club.
Gardener - NA-5003-04 - $11.50 P/H
Will perform seasonal gardening tasks such as fertilizing, preparing seedbeds, transplanting, laying sod, aerating, trimming and applying chemicals to plants. Must have general knowledge of landscaping. Must be able to operate and clean hand and power operated gardening tools and equipment. A valid Washington State driver license is required. Position is located at the Whispering Firs Golf Course. This is a temporary position, not to extend beyond 30 September 2010.
Gardener (Motor Vehicle Operator) - NA-5003-06 - $13.10 P/H
The primary purpose of this position is to plan and perform seasonal gardening and grounds maintenance duties associated with the golf course. The position requires the use of motor vehicles and tractors. Plans and carries out gardening work according to the schedule or project assignment, keeping within the framework of established gardening practices. Landscapes assigned areas and determines need for spreading topsoil, fertilizing, lining, seeding, planting and watering. Operates a farm-type tractor or attached equipment on level or rolling terrain typical of a golf course. Operates a variety of gasoline, diesel or electric powered-wheeled vehicles that typically have a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of more than 10,000 and up to 26,000 pounds. Must have a valid Washington state driver's license. Position is located at the Whispering Firs Golf Course. This is a temporary position, not to extend beyond 30 September 2010.

Guest Services Representative: NF-0303 - Payband I - $9.00 P/H
Experience in hotel front desk operations is helpful and experience in general clerical work to include computer usage. Previous cash register experience is needed. Subject to satisfactory completion of a National Agency background investigation. Position is located at the Evergreen Inn. Ability to work all shifts and weekends.
Recreation Aid (Holiday Park): NF-0189 - Payband I - $9.00 P/H
Practical Knowledge of recreational activities, rules, and procedures. Skill in the use and maintenance of various recreational equipment and facilities are desirable. Enforce Holiday Park rules and takes reservations and payments for trips and tours. You must have cash and check handling. A Washington State driver’s license is required. Subject to satisfactory completion of a National Agency background investigation. Position is located at Holiday Park (Adventures Unlimited).
Child & Youth Program Assistant: CY-1702-01-03
Little or no previous experience is required for this position. Must have a driver license for this position. Salary and grade level will depend on previous experience and education. You must be 18 years of age and a high school graduate, or equivalent. Subject to satisfactory completion of a National Agency background investigation.
